Demetri Ganiaris has over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate throughout New York City. He has worked on real estate and economic development projects for public, not-for-profit and private organizations, including the NYC Economic Development Corp and Vornado Realty Trust. He is passionate about the city and its diverse urban environment and has worked on everything from residential rentals to organizing teams for the development of a million square foot plus mixed-use development.

Demetri is a downtown Manhattan expert focusing on Tribeca, Soho, Financial District, Chelsea, Flatiron and the Garment District. Whether you are seeking the perfect home, investment property or the right space for your business – Demetri is knowledgeable, flexible, persistent and skilled in working with diverse clientele and deals. He never takes a cookie-cutter approach to real estate or people, for each client requires a unique solution, and he always goes the extra mile.

Demetri grew up in Colorado and is graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. He came to NYC in 1992 to complete his M.S. in Urban Planning at Columbia University. He is Member of the Urban Land Institute, a LEED-AP with experience creating sustainable real estate, a Certified Planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners, a Licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of REBNY. Outside of work Demetri has served several neighborhood boards including the Friends of Washington Market Park and Downtown Little League and was an elected member of the Community Education Council for District 2 in Manhattan. He is currently on the board of Gotham Girls Football Club, New York City’s only soccer club focused on the development of female soccer players.

Demetri resides in Tribeca with his wife and two children.
